We couldn't let the year run out without another visit to our projects in Rwanda. Bronwen and Ann have been checking up on things for three weeks over November and December.
In three short weeks the pair will have their work cut out. The children's project in Nyamirambo will be one of the first stops. They are on school holidays now and arrangements need to be made for next year's school fees and uniforms. We will now have three at high school as the group enter their fourth year on the project.
The Goat and Porridge project at Rutonde is also on the list. In October we purchased goats for ten widows and with the help of Eglise Presbyterienne are providing daily porridge for the poorest children in the village.
Over in the east of the country there is also a visit scheduled to our friends at the Living Church at Kibungo on behalf of Loanhead Parish Church.
If there is any time left over our intrepid travellers hope to go out west and sample to scenery at Lake Kivu.
