School holidays and some fun

Our current visit to Kigali is being spent in the volunteers' quarters at the Meg Foundation school in Kinamba. We are in the middle of the long Christmas break, which normally should mean that the place is devoid of screaming children, but this week has seen the start of the holiday club and daily classes which are anything but quiet.

The classes sound a little more fun than usual because of Jonathan, a young teacher from Australia who is enjoying something of a busman's holiday while his own school back home takes its Christmas break. Ably assisted by Mrs R (aka mama Sandy) Jonathan has been teaching English, playing games and taking the children out onto the football field.
