The weather forecasts at home are for 90mph winds, lots of snow and temperatures below zero. So from where we are sitting in the Land of a Thousand Hills, endless sunshine and temperatures in the high twenties, we are thinking ourselves lucky. Only a little lucky though. The heat is intense and not particularly comfortable. The area has seen no rain since before Christmas.
We are back in Rwanda to follow up on the projects and learn of new developments. Above all we are here to pay school fees for our Nyamirambo children starting the new school year. We have a new porridge project at Rutonde to visit and several sponsors sending children to primary school. During our previous visit a number of widows were given money to start up in business and we hope to meet them to hear their stories.
It looks like being a busy few weeks.
